Call for abstracts
​

The Alliance for Healthy Aging, in partnership with Newcastle University Institute for Ageing, is holding a symposium titled Metabolism and Ageing, which will be held November 9-11, 2017 at the University Medical Center Groningen in the Netherlands.
 
Travel awards are available for outstanding abstracts, and will cover travel and accommodation costs for the conference. Some submitted abstracts may be selected for presentation as a short talk. Please mark your abstract as “poster only” if you DO NOT wish to be considered for such a slot.
 
Program Topics are:
• Mitochondria, ROS & NAD
• Metabolism and cell senescence
• Systems Biology
• Nutrient sensing
• Metabolism and stem cell ageing
 
Abstract Submission Guidelines
Abstracts must be saved in Microsoft Word and are limited to one page and must be sent as an attachment within an e-mail to Julie Sokoloski at sokoloski.julie@mayo.edu no later than August 11, 2017.
We encourage you to submit early to ensure prompt confirmation and processing. After a scientific review, award recipients will be notified.

Abstracts should contain the following content sections:
• Background                                                • Results and Conclusions
• Objectives                                                 • Support (if applicable)
• Methods (including type of data collected)
 
Please underline name of presenting author, list co-authors and collaborators, your department, institution, city, country, and postal code.
 
You will receive an e-mail acknowledgment of each abstract submission. If you do not receive an e-mail acknowledging submission, contact Julie Sokoloski at sokoloski.julie@mayo.edu.

Maximum size poster: 1.00 meter (width) x 1.20 meter (height).
Further detailed instructions will be provided within the abstract acceptance notice.
